Delivery and Commissioning

Tideway Community

The price will be agreed at order and will not change. A deposit is required at time of order, we then ask for a 'build' payment (when build starts) which brings the deposit up to a third of the complete cost. The final two thirds would be on collection or delivery.

On the day you collect your new dinghy we will spend time with you to go through all aspects of using and caring for your dinghy. If you do need delivery it would be at a cost, agreed at time of order.

All new boats are suppied with a handbook which gives full details of the boat for example -

  • Full details and key data on the boat including the moulded in hull number and sail number allocation.
  • Safety information and the Recreational Craft Safety Certificate on the boat.
  • Full details of the hull and rig and operating information including setting and lowering sails etc.
  • Maintenance advice.
  • Full list of parts.
  • Information on any additional equipment supplied for example trailers and outboard brackets.

After collection of your boat, Tideway Dinghies will support the boat above and beyond the Statutory Requirement –  any advice necessary will be willingly given.
